Hi guys!

Summer is finally here, so I think it's time for a long break from events. I'm always working on other projects, but a holiday will give me some much-needed rest and relaxation. With this heat, I can't stop dreaming about wonderful beaches and crystal-clear water!

After the festival in Rome, I came home exhausted but overjoyed to have seen old friends and made new ones. The Crack festival always guarantees you'll meet wonderful and unique people. Before I forget, I would like to thank everyone who took care of me, whether by bringing me a pizza or water, lending me a table or a bed for the night, or simply giving me a cuddle. You all made my experience at Crack one of the best ever! You will always be in my heart.

PEANUTMAN in THE TRACK

At the Crack Festival, I also presented the Peanutman mini-comic: a zine containing a comic and a poster. The story is visually cute and adorable, but the content is quite the opposite. I don't want to spoil anything, but know that it represents a piece of my heart. In fact, it was the first comic I brought to my very first Crack Festival many years ago. For this occasion, I redesigned and improved it as a gift to my younger self who was just beginning to take her first steps in this world.

Meanwhile, I embarked on a new adventure:

A few days ago, I attended the opening of the 'Spring is a Pink Dot' exhibition at Big Eyes Art Gallery. I am still very excited; it was my first time at an art gallery, and the curator was kind and courageous to want to exhibit my work, which was created entirely using pencils and graphite. He was courageous because of the strong theme I decided to tackle.

The exhibition will be open for three months, until 25 September, for those who want to visit.

The fish with feet are back! This new set is selling like hot cakes! So hurry!

For the new set, I chose the theme of American movies. The first is a trans western, which would be wonderful in such a macho film genre. The second is the typical film in which a girl lives in a small, forgotten village, but can sing and dance — and obviously passes the Juilliard entrance exam. The third is horror films set in colleges where cheerleaders are the first to die. I must say that I had a lot of fun creating this new set!

Ciao ragazzi!

L'estate è finalmente arrivata e direi che è il momento di fare un lunga pausa dagli eventi (sto sempre lavorando ad altri progetti e non mi fermerò) una vacanza mi darà la giusta serenità e poi, con questo caldo sogno solo spiagge meravigliose e acqua cristallina.

Dopo festival a Roma sono tornato a casa esausto, ma super contento di aver rivisto vecchi e nuovi amici, il Crack festival è sempre una garanzia d'incontri di anime meravigliose e uniche. Prima che mi dimentichi, vorrei ringraziare chi si è preso cura di me portandomi una pizza, dell'acqua, un tavolo, un giaciglio per la notte, delle coccole o qualsiasi cosa abbia reso la mia esperienza al Crack, una delle migliori di sempre! Siete sempre nel mio cuore.

Sempre al Crack ho presentato il mini fumetto di Peanutman, una zine che contiene un fumetto e un poster, la storia è visivamente pucciosa e carina ma dal contenuto opposto, non voglio spoilerare nulla, ma sappiate che per me rappresenta un pezzo di cuore, infatti è stato il primo fumetto portato al mio primissimo Crack festival molti anni fa, per l'occasione l'ho ridisegnato e migliorato, una sorta di regalo al me stesso che cominciava a fare i primi passi in questo mondo.

Nel frattempo mi sono imbarcato in una nuova avventura:

Qualche giorno fa presenziato al vernissage della mostra "SPRING IS A PINK DOT" presso Big eyes art gallery, sono ancora molto emozionato, è la mia prima volta in una galleria d'arte e la curatrice è stata gentile e anche particolarmente coraggiosa nel voler esporre questi miei lavori realizzati totalmente in analogico con matite e grafite. *Coraggiosa, per via della tematica forte che ho deciso di affrontare.

Per chi avesse voglia, la mostra sarà visitabile per tre mesi fino al 25 settembre.

Son tornati i pesci con i piedi! Presto, presto, questo nuovo set sta andando a ruba!

Per il nuovo set ho scelto il tema dei film americani: un trans western che sarebbe meraviglioso in un tipo di film tanto machista, il tipico film vivo in un piccolo paesino ma so cantare/ballare = passa ovviamente il test di ammissione alla Julliard e gli horror ambientato nei college in cui le cheerleader sono le prime a morire.. devo dire che mi sono tanto divertito a creare questo nuovo set!

STRANI DISEGNI Strange pictures

Cosa lega un blog le cui illustrazioni nascondono una scena spaventosa, lo scarabocchio di un bambino che contiene un oscuro messaggio e uno schizzo fatto dalla vittima di un omicidio nei suoi ultimi istanti di vita? Un romanzo con una trama inquietante, unica, dove solo una serie di immagini, da comporre e interpretare, permette di scoprire l’identità di un assassino. Tradotto in tutto il mondo, scritto da un autore che cela il proprio volto dietro una maschera bianca, “Strani disegni” ha rinnovato il crime contemporaneo e ridefinito i confini dell’inquietudine.

DUNGEON QUEST

Il libro che ho pensato di presentarvi è qualcosa di unico e meraviglioso: TI ASPETTO . Un perfetto incrocio tra l'arte e la narrazione, un libro unico come la sua fattura, guardandolo ci accorgiamo che già dalla copertina possiamo di intravedere diversi scorci delle illustrazioni in esso contenute. Pensate, ogni pagina di questo libro è stata tagliata per poterci mostra le pagine successive.. Il libro conta più di 200 illustrazioni ed ognuna rappresenta un piccolo passo verso la persona che il protagonista andrà ad incontrare. Consigliatissimo!!!
